Debt Collection Agent

1. **Main purpose of Job**:
Collect outstanding debt across as per age analysis in respect of all Group property owning entities

2. **Key Performance Areas**

i. Able to work in a team and individually

ii. Able to ensure that the maximum collections are achieved in line with targets set by management

iii. Able to ensure the business objectives are achieved in line with workflow and deadlines

iv. Must have working to comprehensive knowledge of

1. Billings (reading and understanding statements and invoices)

2. Debit order submissions and rejections

3. Legal processes - Blacklisting, letters of demand

4. Handovers for legal recovery

5. Account reconciliations

v. Able to report on:
1. Report on the number of accounts worked on per day / weekly /monthly

2. Number of calls made per day in ratio to accounts worked per day

4. Payment arrangements achieved and adhered to

a. Customer Service

b. Good communication and persuasive skills - written and verbal

c. Able to work in a target driven and pressurised environment

d. Attention to detail

e. Innovative

4. **Requirements of the Job**

a. NQF level 4 - matriculation

b. 3 to 5 years’ experience in a collection’s environment (property collections will be advantageous)

c. Knowledge of MDA / MRI (advantageous)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R8 000,00 - R11 000,00 per month
