We are seeking an experienced **Food and Beverage Manager** to lead our food and beverage operations, ensuring that every dining experience meets the highest standards of excellence. As the driving force behind our culinary services, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving profitability.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage the food and beverage department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering outstanding service to all guests.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and maintain high-quality menus, ensuring that food and drink offerings meet luxury standards.
- Oversee service staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure exceptional guest service and team performance.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage vendor relationships, and oversee ordering to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of food and beverages.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all food and beverage operations.
- Implement and manage cost control measures to enhance profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction is consistently achieved.
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate event catering, special promotions, and overall service delivery.
- Monitor financial performance, preparing reports on sales, costs, and profitability to ensure departmental goals are met.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- **Matric** certificate.
- **Diploma** in Hotel Management or Food and Beverage Management.
- **3-5 years** of relevant experience in luxury hospitality.
- Proficiency in **MS Office**.
- Familiarity with **Opera** and **Micros** systems.
- Strong decision-making and leadership abilities.
- Excellent influencing and communication skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage diverse tasks and demands.
