**Job Advert Summary**:
The purpose of this role is managing the integration with the regularity audit business units (RABU) towards clean audit outcomes by pro-actively identifying key risks, red flags, suspicious transactions/ trends relating to maladministration, fraud, corruption, and non-compliance through the use of data analytics. This includes planning, execution, and reporting on these risks/outcomes with RABU’s (ISA240 audit support).

Knowledge of fraud investigations

Data analytics tools

Must have in-depth knowledge and skills in the latest tools available to perform data analytics.

Data analytic methodologies

Must be proficient in scripting with a forensic mind-set.

Risk Analysis

Must have an understanding of how to translate fraud schemes or fraud risks into risk analytics to
identify fraud red flags.

Knowledge of scripting ability

Must have knowledge in scripting for various environments and the ability to automate the execution of the tests/ procedures required.

G: GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Formal Education

This position requires a minimum qualification of a CA (SA) or RGA orCISA or equivalent qualification or ACDA or B Degree in Auditing,
Computer Science or Informatics or equivalent.
An ACFE/post grad diploma in forensic accounting/ICFP is an added advantage / preferable.

Experience Minimum 5 years work experience in data analysis with 3 years managerial experience.

Minimum 1-2 years ACL scripting experience and/or knowledge of ACL.
Must have an understanding of how to translate fraud schemes or fraud risks into risk analytics to identify fraud red flags.

Added advantage:
SQL or SAS knowledge
5 years’ forensic investigation experience
Procurement investigation experience in the public sector
Public Sector Analytical experience (PFMA/MFMA)
Working experience of government IT system

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Providing insights in terms of emerging fraud risks to the IBU’s Data Analytics development team and ensure alignment with BU Balance Score Card (BSC).
Interpretation of the data analytics results provided by the Data Analytics development team and packaging for the RABU consumption.
Provide support in the implementation of the business unit (BU) BSC.
