Rainbow Chickens is looking for a skilled individual to join the Engineering Team as Artisan Assistant in the Mechanical department. This position is based at our Worcester Processing Plant, Western Cape.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade 12
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a mechanical/electrical maintenance environment
- Good working knowledge of machinery
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work shifts/overtime/standby as per operational requirements
- Punctuality and Attendance reliability

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance in the mechanical workshop
- Diagnose and repair minor faults
- Repair, adjust and replace failed or faulty component parts
- Ensure work environment is always in a clean and neat condition
- Adhere to health and safety
