Role Purpose

Implement and adopt appropriate trading tactics to optimize pricing and profitability, manage and execute trades for clients to deliver on client expectations, and grow the investment book.
Requirements

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting/ Business
- Registered Equities trader
- RPE Equity Markets and Derivatives
- Proficiency in C++, Java, Matlab, and VBA programming languages

**Experience**:

- 3-5 years + Equities trading and analysis experience
- An understanding of corporate actions, financial markets, trading, and equities
- Experience in using Bloomberg, Iress Pro, Swissquote, TradeCis, Talx, or similar
- Experience in financial analysis modeling
- Experience in options pricing
- Proficient in Microsoft office including excel
Duties & Responsibilities

**Derivatives and Equity Trading**
- Sell and market the derivatives offering to clients to grow the derivatives book
- Ensures the development of quantitative trading models
- Perform regular Quantitative and Statistical analysis.
- Ensure accurate trade execution
- Ensure accurate derivatives pricing
- Mitigation of any risk (including client level, market level, and Momentum Securities) associated with trading activities.
- Derivative book management: Interaction with internal and external derivatives service providers.
- Day-to-day client engagement
- Perform general day-to-day derivative desk administration
- Derivative desk deal management
