We are extremely excited to announce that we are on the lookout for a proficient Lead - Technical Services to be based at our regional offices in Johannesburg, South Africa.
- The primary purpose of this critical role is to lead the Area Technical services team and develops initiatives focused on delivering measurable value to customers and sustainable revenue to Orica.**What you will be doing**
- Adhering to Orica Safe Operating Procedures;
- Auditing competencies of TS personnel to comply with Group Standards;
- Creating Customer Technical Relationship & Engagement Plans and Contributing to Customer needs and business development opportunity identification;
- Leading a team to deliver technical projects that deliver measured value to customers;
- Developing technical method statements for customer tender responses;

**What you will bring**
- Post graduate qualifications;
- Minimum 8 years’ experience post professional qualification, including 5 years of direct people management experience;
- Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream;
- Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups;
- Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable;
- Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships;
- Financial acumen & budgeting experience.
