**Hospitality Operations Supervisor - Stellenbosch Winelands Golf Lodge**

Our company is looking for a experienced individual to head our portfolio of properties at Winelands Golf Lodge. We need a person who will serve as an all-rounder to assist in all aspects of successfully managing and maintain our properties.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Matric and Tertiary Hospitality qualification preferred
- Proficient in Afrikaans and English
- Desired work experience of 3- 7 years in hospitality in a similar position within a 4/5 star property
- Previous experience in OPERA or knowledge of it is advantageous
- Must have own vehicle
- Must not live more than 35km away from De Zalze - Stellenbosch
- Must be available to start in 1 - 2 weeks
- Please note that this is a live out position

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Take complete ownership of all departments in your property focusing on the experience and satisfaction
- MOD ( Manager On Duty ) on weekends including being on Standby on a Sunday
- Develop strong communication and line reporting procedures to guide service implementation making improvements or changes where required
- Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping and maintenance department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily
- Attention to detail and strong administrative skills
- Manage arrival / departure experience
- Room checks and Property inspections before guest arrive into their apartment
- Ensure good service and reviews
- Staff training and management
- Front office, reception, reservations and administration duties
- Work alongside the HR, Finance and operational teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Exceeding the expectations of customers throughout their visit, including providing recommendations and responding to queries promptly
- Resolving and handling complaints
- Managing reservations
- Liaising with other teams - Working closely with team members in other areas of the business, to create a seamless experience for the customer
- Quality assurance - Establishing standards for customer services and ensuring all staff members are achieving those standard

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stellenbosch, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
