Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Doktorsgraad in Antropologie (verwante dissiplines sal oorweeg word indien akademieskap antropologiese toepaslikheid het);- Ervaring in die onderrig van groot voorgraadse klasse (dit wil sê klasse met inskrywings van 200 studente of meer);- 'n Belowende publikasierekord (bewese deur twee geakkrediteerde enkelouteur tydskrifartikels, waarvan een in 'n internasionaalgebaseerde tydskrif moet wees);- Uitstekende kommunikasievaardighede;

- Doctorate in Anthropology (related disciplines will be considered if scholarship has anthropological relevance);- Experience in teaching large undergraduate classes (i.e. classes with enrolments of 200 students or more);-
- A promising publication record (demonstrated by two peer-reviewed sole-authored journal articles, one of which should be in an internationally based journal);-
- Excellent communication skills;**_

- Postgraduate teaching experience- Postgraduate supervision experience at the Master's level;-
- Research experience outside South Africa;-
- Experience of hybrid teaching;- Teaching ability in one of the following anthropological fields:
1. Medical Anthropology; 2. Political Anthropology; 3. Semiotics or Linguistic Anthropology; 4. History of Anthropological Thought/ Historical Anthropology.
