**Key Purpose**

The Settlement Controller is responsible for planning and supervision of the operations at the Weighbridge Station according to legislative requirements. To assist in an operational team to maintain and reconcile financial documents, be meticulous in maintaining and recording all entries.

**Responsibilities**
- Weigh out all loaded trucks and verify weights are correct
- Verify all paperwork upon the trucks returning from deliveries and record all documents received
- Completion of all settlement documents from returning trucks
- Ensure all PODs are signed, returned, and accounted for
- Ensure all stock that is returned is correct and accounted for
- Verify, inspect, and maintain stock of all auxiliary equipment
- Ensure all auxiliary equipment is returned and accounted for
- Ensure weekly stock take of auxiliary equipment are completed accurately
- Report, record and assist with correcting any discrepancies found

**Key attributes and competencies**
- Experienced weighbridge operator/settlement controller
- Ability to calculate and interpret tare weights to ensure safe departure of trucks
- The ability to work cooperatively with drivers of 8-to-10-ton trucks and understand their schedules and equipment required
- Able to work under pressure and handle constructive feedback
- Be able to engage constructively and have good conflict management
- Pay close attention to detail and be process orientated
- Must be able to work shifts

**Qualifications / Experience**
- Matric /Grade 12 / NCV 4 with Maths or Accounting
- NQF 4 Stores and Warehouse or Accounting certificate - an advantage
- Basic MS EXCEL and Outlook
- Forklift license an advantage
- Experience in finance/accounts

Hendok is POPIA compliant.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
