The NSRI is a volunteer-based rescue organisation on call 24/7. Its mission is to preserve life and livelihoods on and around South African waters through education, drowning prevention and rescue services. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic Performance Marketing team. You will play a crucial role in leveraging data to optimize donations and marketing strategies, drive decision-making, and enhance overall campaign performance.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science).
- Proven experience (8-10 years) in data analysis, preferably within a performance marketing or digital advertising environment.
- Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python).
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex findings in a clear and actionable manner.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends related to performance marketing metrics, including ROI, customer acquisition, and conversion rates.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to cross-functional teams.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns, providing actionable recommendations for optimization and efficiency improvement.
- Collaborate to define and track relevant metrics, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Utilize statistical methods and predictive modelling to identify opportunities and risks within marketing strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, data analytics tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve analytical methodologies.
- Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability for analysis.
