We are seeking a Sales Representative with experience in the Retail supply and Wholesale furniture industry.

DJ Woodworks is renowned as a major player in the Furniture Wholesale market based in Johannesburg Town with countrywide representation. DJ Woodworks urgently requires a Sales Representative based in JHB. Sales Experience within the Furniture Industry is compulsory.

**About the Position**

To sell Furniture retail products, goods, and services to the furniture business as well as to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process while constantly looking for new sales leads.

**Description**
- Maintain relationships with current clients in Furniture wholesale/Supply retail.
- Grow new and existing customer base in line with company strategies.
- Manage allocated area and customers, including record keeping of customers’ activities.
- Weekly reporting on customers & sales activities to management.
- All admin related to a sales function, invoicing, back-orders report, quotations, pro-forma invoices, etc. in collaboration with the internal sales team
- Meet sales targets by visiting customers according to the contact plan and selling merchandise
- Develop new business by identifying new sales opportunities
- Build productive relationships with Retail business
- Driving sales and cold calling
- Making contact with buyers within chain stores and within the wholesale industries

**Key Responsibilities**

**Sales**
- Develop and execute the wholesale strategy to drive furniture brand sales and maximize profitability.
- Develop new business by identifying new sales opportunities
- Prospect and convert new wholesale leads.
- Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects.
- Create, plan, and deliver presentations and sales aids for the furniture brands.
- Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements.
- Achieve the agreed sales targets for the wholesale channel of the furniture brands, ensuring positive sales growth monthly and annually through the development and driving of "sell-out" strategies.

**Marketing**
- Build the marketing plan for the brands, including Consumer Engagement, Trade
- Ensure that messaging and marketing activities are aligned with brand and company values.
- Visit furniture retailers in person.
- Look for institutional clients

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years’ experience in Retail Supply/Furniture Wholesale.
- Wholesale furniture or Retail supply experience.
- Experience in selling into the Retail/Wholesale Groups.
- Customer service oriented.
- Own Car + Driver’s license

**Responsibilities**:
