Bombela Maintenance is looking to recruit 1 x Team Leader (Rolling Stock).

**The main purpose of this role is to **ensure safe, reliable and available trains as per customer requirements, primarily through preventative maintenance and repairs

This role will be based at the Gautrain Maintenance Depot in Midrand, Johannesburg.

**YOUR ROLE**:

- Ensure execution of preventative and corrective maintenance in a timely manner to meet all performance targets.
- Work shifts over a 7 day week
- Conduct incident management including investigation and restoration within the shortest possible time to ensure availability and reliability
- Effective teamwork and self-management.

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**:

- National Diploma in Engineering: Electrical. ECSA registration as Engineering Technician
- 5 years experience in rolling stock maintenance and two years in supervisory role
- Advanced mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Advanced pneumatics
- Reading of drawings and schematics (electrical, pneumatic & mechanical)
- Mechanical and Electrical repairs
- Follow corrective maintenance procedures and instructions
- Accurate fault reporting
- OHS Act and relevant regulations
- Knowledge of Maximo/SAP
- Sound knowledge of transport systems
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer System Diagnostic Skills
- Knowledge of Maintenance Systems and Processes
- Should be able to see in color
- South African citizen
