**Job Advert Summary**:
The test manager takes full responsibility for the quality and test advocacy, resource planning and management of test team, drive resolution of issues that arise from testing, and ensure high quality product for release into the market. The test manager must also ensure that a high level of testing focus is embedded in the SDLC process

**Minimum Requirements**:
Qualification / Education Required

Þ Tertiary qualification in Software Testing/Development

Þ Relevant certifications in Software Testing such as ISTQB Foundation

Other requirements

Þ 5 plus years’ experience as a Test Analyst

Þ Experience in a broad range of testing technologies/products, standards, tools and methodologies.

Þ Experience in the development of test plans, test strategies, roadmaps, methodologies and frameworks.

Þ 5 plus years’ experience in SQL

Þ Experience in C#

Þ Experience in Azure DevOps Services

Þ Experience testing APIs

Þ Experience testing Web-based UI

Þ Experience with Automated testing (Development, Execution, Analysis and Reporting)

Þ Coordination and leadership skills

Þ Strong verbal and communication skills

Desirable requirements

Þ ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or ISTQB Advanced Technical

Þ Experience in leading a testing team

Þ Experience with Performance testing

Supervision / Control / Influence

Þ Under guidance and evaluation of Application Development Manager

Þ Within general guidelines or functions as defined in the job description

Scope of responsibility

Þ Skills-transfer coaching of Testing team

Þ Key stakeholder management

Þ Responsible for delivery within given ICT operational plans

Knowledge

Þ Knowledge of the latest Application Testing practices

Þ Knowledge of Software Development governance frameworks and standards e.g. COBIT, ITIL, DevOps, etc.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Þ Allocate tasks to the test analysts and manage their deliverables as per sprint planning

Þ Determine company’s testing strategy and drive the execution thereof

Þ Improve quality and testing time using automation

Þ Consultation with stakeholders to ensure test efforts achieve stakeholder satisfaction

Þ Assist industry vendors and clients during test efforts to drive success of the project

Þ Provide or recommend training to test analysts on testing tools and methodologies

Þ Create, maintain and enforce quality assurance benchmarks

Þ Perform system integration testing.

Þ Determine test metrics and measurements of the deliverable, as well of the Testing team

Þ Review Non-functional requirements like system performance and fault tolerance and ensure they are met

Þ Address all audit findings and ensure corrective action is being taken. Provide regular status updates on these, as required

Þ Ensure necessary controls are embedded in the deliverable and test these controls

Þ Identify and prioritize key risks based on urgency

Þ Analyze and create test requirements and scenarios with correct coverage and linking to acceptance criteria of user stories

Þ Prepare and maintain test environments

Þ Conduct efficient testing and evaluation during the sprint cycles, iteratively evolving the test plans

Þ Create, Maintain and enhance the test plans repository with deliverables and reporting timelines

Þ Provide test results and test status to the relevant stakeholders by showing achievement of test results against test metrics

Þ Track and report on software defects (Azure DevOps Services)

Þ Create, Maintain and implement Test Automation

Þ Seek to continuously improve software quality, testing tools, testing processes and testing environments

Þ Mentoring and coaching of test analysts

Þ Develop a test plan for every deliverable showing how the risks will be mitigated and obtain stakeholder signoff for this plan

Þ Document, implement, monitor and develop end to end test processes and standards for the organization.
