Revenue Manager

We are currently seeking a Revenue Manager to join our team at a 5 star Game Lodge in Limpopo,and contribute to our success by effectively managing daily revenue, forecasting, budgeting, and overseeing our reservations system. Please note that this is a single live in position.
Position Summary:
The Revenue Manager is integral to our financial success, focusing on optimizing revenue through strategic decision-making, data analysis, and market trend monitoring. This role involves close coordination with our sales team, properties, and partners to ensure that revenue opportunities are maximized across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make daily revenue management decisions based on market trends, data analysis, and demand forecasting.
- Manage and optimize revenue-related processes and systems to maximize profitability.
- Oversee the reservations department, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality guest service.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, promotions, and special offers in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Prepare financial forecasts, accommodation budgets, and perform profitability analysis.
- Maintain rate parity across all channels and manage inventory for special offers.
- Build and maintain relationships with tour operators and preferred partners.
- Provide regular reporting, forecasting, and budgeting updates to management and board members.
- Implement and oversee the use of new systems and tools to improve revenue management efficiency.
**Requirements**:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Hospitality degree or diploma is advantageous.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar revenue management role.
- Strong knowledge of reservations management and related functions.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed financial targets.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with PowerBI and reservations systems.
- Previous experience in a Game Lodge or Hotel required
- Previous experience in forcasting required.
- Must be able to relocate to limpopo.
