RECEPTIONIST

This position is based at Villa Assumpta and reports directly to the Villa Assumpta Manager. This position is a half day position. The receptionist is the face of the organisation and must at all times promote the image of PADCA and Villa Assumpta.

Description:
Job Objectives:

- Promoting the image of PADCA & Villa Assumpta
- Performing normal duties and administrative duties relevant to the well-functioning of reception.
- Ensuring effective communication between the departments and with all residents.
- Minute taking
- The receipt of acknowledgement of all monies
- Assisting with events and projects in the home
- Tuck shop duties
- Co-ordinate the use of the Villa Assumpta vehicles.
- Filing
- Assist with correspondence on behalf of the Home - donations, appointments, messages
- Administrative duties for a Health and Safety Rep.

Minimum Requirements:
Skills and Attributes:

- 2 years relevant experience as a receptionist and/ or admin assistant
- Excellence communication skills coupled with empathy and patience.
- Must have a professional telephone manner
- Ability to be proactive and prioritize emergencies
- Willingness to help out in all departments when required
- Willing to go the extra mile
- Able to use office equipment correctly.
- Valid code 8 Driver’s license
- Computer literate, using Excel, Word and Outlook

**Job Type**: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: R4,500.00 per month
