We are looking for a Contract Cleaning Supervisor to control and manage the cleaning operation of all the sites.

To manage all operational activities relating to the cleaning contracts held by our client’s Hospitality Services Division at all hospitality sites, to provide support for contracted teams, and to ensure overall client satisfaction by maintaining high quality standards of service and efficiencies provided by the Hospitality Services Division in all hospitality sites.

**Client Relations Management**
- Respond to client communication within 12 hours and facilitate reciprocal communication flow
- Meet with clients as weekly/bi
- weekly, to manage site performance and deal with all service problems
- Assist supervisors and site managers to action client requests/complaints, ensure that resources are made available where applicable
- Analyze all complaints to prevent reoccurrence, work with supervisors and site managers to come up with permanent solutions where possible
- Participate in the monthly Key Performance Indicators assessment meetings with clients
- Manage client expectations, set mutual goals together and communicate any possible obstacles along the way or any foreseeable ones and plan to overcome them
- Maintain professionalism at all times, diffuse difficult client interactions and communicate impact of client instructions/requests to other work on sites
- Develop and Maintain systems to ensure Hospitality Services’ responsibilities in the Service Level Agreement are adhered to at all times
- Conduct Site Evaluation, including cleaning scores and obtain client feedback and score accordingly.

**Staff Management**
- Manage Employee Relations and ensure implementation of company policies and procedures
- Assess skills development needs, strength and weaknesses of employees and arrange training
- Conduct employee performance assessment and provide mentoring and coaching to close performance gaps
- Help to build trust amongst the team members by being professional at all times
- Build morale of the team and work towards team building at all times
- Communicate team goals and set targets and guidelines for the supervisors/leadership team
- Organize the work and schedules according to client requirements and capacity of every team member
- Manage all staffing requirements so as to effectively recruit, train, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor their activities.
- Manage effective submission and payment of staff salaries, communicate staff benefits
- Monitor and manage overall staff attendance statistics to ensure client site coverage and to manage with ill-health
- Liaise with colleagues to work together and provide consistent, excellent service as a team
- Manage the operational activities of Hospitality Services in all hospitality sites to support and contribute to the company strategic plan and long term goals.

**Health and Safety Management**
- Manage the creation and updates to the Health and Safety Management plan for Hospitality Services
- Liaise with the Health and Safety Consultant/Senior Management to manage risks, reduce incident occurrence, improve compliance and increase productivity
- Assess risks, conduct hazard identification and communicate with the SHE Consultant/Senior Management
- Participate and review all SHE meeting minutes and ensure that there is adequate corrective action taking place
- Accurately assess all job tasks and provide adequate Personal Protective Equipment for each task
- Ensure that monthly PPE audits are conducted
- Ensure that monthly inspections on electrical equipment/tools and cables are conducted to prevent electrical shock
- To assist with fulfilling the duties of Hospitality Services as the Employer as far as practicably possible as per section 8 of the OHS Act of 1993

**Equipment, Consumables, Chemicals and Materials Controls**
- Ensure that the ordering and delivery process is seamless, throughout for site managers and for special client requests
- Monitor client orders and ensure that they are processed and delivered timeously
- Monitor sites to ensure that all compulsory cleaning products and chemicals are always available
- Assist and monitor sites to ensure that they are always ordering their products within the allowable budgets
- Monitor equipment availability, repairs and costs, to ensure efficient cleaning of sites

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:

- Relevant Operations/Business Management qualification
- Safety Health and Environment (SHE) certification
- Solid knowledge of the OHS Act of 1993
- Matric
- Language Proficiency - fluent in English
- Cleaning Operations Management Experience
- Housekeeping management
- Food Hygiene management
- Industrial cleaning management
