**Synopsis**
We have an exciting opportunity for an **Internal Audit Manager,** based in Pretoria within wealth management space. You will be responsible for examining and evaluating the internal control systems and procedures and recommend corrective actions to improve operations and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk. Manage the internal audit activity to ensure it adds value to the organization.

**Qualification and Experience**
- CA (SA)
- 4-5 years of audit experience within Wealth Management, Funds, Manco, Forex.
- Must have audited internally for financial planning/asset management/ investment management companies only.
- Leadership experience leading teams.
- Microsoft packages: Data Analytics: IDEA / SQL / Power BI.

**Roles and Responsibilities** You will be responsible for the following areas of work**:

- Accountable for the delivery and measurable performance of the IA team, including audit plan delivery.
- Evaluates and provides reasonable assurance that risk management, corporate governance processes, internal controls and systems are functioning as intended and are adequately.
- Evaluates the organization's readiness in case of business interruption.
- Maintain an open, constructive and solutions driven relationship with internal and external stakeholders including Business Unit Leaders, Exco and external auditors.
- Have in place a robust process to follow-up management’s agreed actions to address issues raised.
- Identify areas of risk within the organization and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks.
- Draft risk-based Internal audit Plan and present to Management and Audit Committees for approval.
- Continuously maintaining the Internal Audit Charter and submit to the Group Financial Review Committee for approval annually.
- Continuously maintaining the Internal Audit Manual of policies and procedures.
- Execution of own planned and ad hoc internal audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures.
- Produce clear and comprehensive audit reports that can be easily understood and actioned by management.
- Report significant issues and internal controls deficiencies to the Group Risk Committee and Audit committee including potential improvements.
- Plan, schedule and assign work to the internal audit team to comply with audit plan completion dates.
- Review and sign off work performed by the Internal Audit team.
- Managing and developing team by building a culture of trust, support and accountability.
- Support and drive the business’ core values.
- Placing the client at the center of everything, you do.
