**Job Description**:
The Digital Assessor is responsible to determine quantum and merit of damages sustained in an incident to vehicles, trucks,
motorcycles, caravans, watercraft and yellow metal equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assessing claims on a daily basis
- Monitor and manage the average repair cost as well as the quality of their own assessments.
- Dealing with customer complaints and ad hoc queries
- Analysing of own data to ensure meeting targets.
- Liaise with service providers, clients and advisors.
- Conduct all the above to the required performance and quality standards that are in place.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Certified Vehicle Damage Quantifier (professional status)

**if not a certified Vehicle Damage Quantifier (VDQ) member with professional status, applicant must have **ONE** of the below qualifications and experience, as a minimum requirement to be considered for the role**:

- Grade 12 with mathematics and minimum 5 years’ vehicle damage quantification experience; or
- Related trade qualification (Automotive Body Repairer and or Automotive Mechanic) with” minimum 5 years with vehicle damage quantification experience; or
- Related trade qualification (Auto Electrical and Spray Painter) with minimum 7 years with vehicle damage quantification experience; or
- A **minimum** of 15 years with vehicle damage quantification experience, with no related qualification
