A collection of 5* luxury properties seeks a dynamic reservationist for a to join their Central Reservations team based in Randpark Ridge.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Reservations or other related lodge position at a 4- or 5-star lodge or 5-star luxury establishment.
- ** Meticulous **attention to detail, with exceptional administration and organizational skills
- Must be able to prioritize and manage tasks independently.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- High level of telephone etiquette
- Able to work under pressure and can complete work timeously and **accurately**:
- Must be able to absorb large amounts of information as our properties are diverse
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Be fully computer literate and tech savvy
- Adhere to company procedures
- Own transport is preferred. Must live within a 20km radius of office.
- Be able to work standby on a roster basis (1 week in every 4)
- Experience in working on PANStrat is advantageous
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Process bookings which have been received from Direct Guests, Trade and Online booking channels.
- Handle guest enquiries while establishing rapport with guests during booking process
- Responding to guests / agents timeously in a friendly, yet professional manner.
- Be able to process bookings from initial contact (quote), follow up, obtaining of all guest details, booking of extra services and collection of monies due.
- Ensure all information is obtained and captured in booking to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience
- Book additional tours, road transfers, shuttle flights and/or charters as required.
- Maximize sales and see what value adds/promotions can be offered
- Management of payments due according to company policy
- Maintain office procedures to ensure that all information is easily retrievable by all staff
- Liaise and communicate with internal stakeholders effectively

SALARY
Plus 50% company contribution to Provident Fund
Plus 100% company contribution to Life & Disability cover
13th Cheque based on company and individual performance
