Reservationist - Randburg

A collection of 5* luxury boutique hotels & lodges seeks a reservationist to join their Central Reservations team based in Randburg.
- Maximize sales by responding to guests/agents with accurate information in a professional and timeous manner.
- Be able to process bookings from initial contact, follow up, obtaining of guest details and collection of monies due.
- Book accommodation, transfers, flights etc. for guests across our portfolio of properties
- Process bookings which have been received from Direct Guests, Trade and Online booking channels.
- Liaise and communicate with internal stakeholders effectively.
- Maintain office procedures to ensure that all information is easily retrievable by all staff

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a Reservations or other related lodge position at a 4/5* Lodge or Boutique Hotel environment (not a large hotel chain)
- Able to work in a small team environment
- Be committed to service excellence

- Able to work under pressure and can complete work quickly and accurately

- Able to communicate to the Reservations Manager of any problems which you are experiencing or where you require assistance
- Excellent command of English - both written and verbal
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Be fully computer literate and tech savvy
- Adhere to company procedures
- Experience working on booking systems (PANStrat experience is a bonus)
- Own reliable transport is essential
