- Great communication is imperative - both telephonically as in person

Good level of mechanical and tools understanding is required.

Ready to further learn and train - with on-line training courses (Restraint of trade will apply).

Preferably with ages between 25-55
- Place of work Head Office in Parkhurst with occasional travel requirements other parts of the country (Durban /Cape Town / Nelspruit /Other) and occasional overnight
- Occasional air travel (Valid passport required)

**Job description**
- management of the projects and technical group and its operations
- Workshop and road techs
- management of schedules and fleet timing
- provide leadership and management of the teams to ensure performance reports in tech areas
- provide individual performance reports

**Requirements**:

- Great communication skills - English, Zulu, Afrikaans, other
- Telephone skills
- Minimum of 3/5 years’ experience at Operations Management level within a technical or electrical or mechanics or manufacturing company.
- Proven management track record with reference.
- Valid drivers’ license
- Diploma or Degree in Production Management or Operations Management or electrical or Mechanic systems
- **Responsibilities**:
Assessing tech reports a new processing job
- Customer communication with regards to. Updates
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
- Determining quality control standards
- Overseeing workflow processes
- Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
- Organising the repair and routine maintenance of equipment
- Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff
- Supervising and managing the work of staff
- Organising relevant training sessions.
- Ensure accurate reporting for flow and invoicing purposes
- Maintain management of control systems.
- **Targets** will be introduced and set and agreed with Management.
- Facilitate the **development** and maintenance of the operations process **expedient flow**:

- **Maintain a balanced service to cost and profitability **ratio through the evaluation, analysis and management of performance, variations, escalations, special request, projects, and network optimisation.
- **Quality assure** — service delivery including identifying and creating solutions to resolve service delivery failures and exceptions
- Ensure **workplace health, safety,** and security requirements
- Produce accurate monthly operational **reports**.
- Undertake department and staff performance reviews in accordance
- Ability to build value-based relationships with relevant customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Operations management and/or Technical workshop experience:

- Min 2 year required - ( 3/5 years Preferred )

**Language**:

- English required.
- Afrikaans / Zulu / Xhosa - (Preferred )

License/Certification:
**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg North, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
