Are you tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about online retail? We are seeking a highly motivated Online Product Listing Officer to join our retail industry team. With a minimum of 6 months of experience and a matric or diploma qualification, you will be crucial in ensuring accurate and engaging product listings on our online platform.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain accurate and compelling product listings on our online platform.
- Collect product information, including descriptions, specifications, and images from various sources.
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive product descriptions that highlight key features and benefits.
- Optimize product listings for search engine visibility and improve ranking.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy of product information.
- Monitor and update product pricing, promotions, and availability as required.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to gather and verify product data.
- Upload product images and ensure they meet quality and size requirements.
- Categorize products correctly within our online catalog for easy navigation and search.
- Research and stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.
- Assist in implementing strategies to enhance the online shopping experience for customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging product content and campaigns.
- Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for any online listing-related issues.
- Maintain knowledge of our product range and contribute to improving product knowledge resources.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Matric or Diploma qualification in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in online product listing or content management, preferably in the retail industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of product data.
- Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and content management systems.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write compelling product descriptions.
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles and keyword research for online optimization.
- Familiarity with product categorization and taxonomy concepts.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software.
- Creative mindset with an eye for visually appealing and engaging product presentations.
- Basic knowledge of image editing tools and techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
