**Job Purpose**

Implements or performs a variety of HR administrative processes and tasks including employee record-keeping. Often handles sensitive employee and company information, which requires that they maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

**Responsibilities**

**Administration**
- Prepare employment contracts and moderately complex documents
- Prepare and maintain all job descriptions in a consistent format and work with the HCBP and Line Managers to ensure accuracy
- Submission of input to payroll ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Ensure all new starter paperwork is completed and relevant information provided to Payroll and benefits providers for processing

**HR Data Management**
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of HR data provided and enter into HR information systems, following defined procedures
- Carry out a wide range of HR data processing tasks as directed; advise other colleagues and provide guidance on processes when needed

**Customer Services**
- Respond to queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information, referring more complex issues to the HCBP

**Employee Onboarding and Offboarding**
- Carry out a range of onboarding and/or offboarding procedures to ensurenaccurate, efficient, and timely completion
- Support of the recruitment processes
- Administer processes including all documentation, induction processes and exit interviews

**Benefits Administration**
- Assist employees in selection of an affordable Medical Aid plan that will cover their basic needs
- Act as liaison between the G&C Manager and the employee
- Assist employees with making changes to their membership
- Assist with any medical aid queries that employees may have
- Submit completed provident fund forms through to the G&C Manager for approval
- Preparation and completion of termination paperwork for the Provident fund should employee leave the group

- Supports business processes without supervision by understanding and effectively using standard office equipment and standard software packages, while providing technical guidance as needed
- Uses an understanding of numerical concepts to perform mathematical operations such as report analysis with guidance (but not constant supervision)
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on acquiring, organizing, protecting and processing data to fulfill business objectives

**Education**
- Matric
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources advantageous

**Experience**
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
