The Executive Absa Vehicle Management Services (AVMS) is responsible for leading the function of AVMS in the Specialised Lending Product area within Relationship Banking.

The role is accountable for the performance and overall management of the business area of AVMS from the achievement of committed performance plans, growing the brand in the market to achieve outperformance, people leadership and take accountability for risk, compliance and good governance.

**Job Description**:

- Develop and drive the strategy of AVMS in ensuring a market leading proposition design and execution thereof.
- Manage the P&L performance in achievement of our strategy to outperform through growing the business sustainably through new client acquisition and optimizing existing client relationships.
- Drive new and innovative solutions to enable client and colleague experience that improve client experience and colleague experience.
- Manage the embedment of the product across the value chain within absa to ensure all stakeholders are working to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee business practices in accordance with risk and compliance standards within the organization.
- Build strategic relationships within the market and internally within the organization including board responsibilities.
- Qualifications; Masters preferred but min of a Honours or equivalent qualification
- Experience: at least 10 years relevant experience within a fleet and or leasing business having led sales and operational teams successfully.
- Strong personal brand within the market with experience growing a brand with key corporate clients.

Competencies:

- Commercial management: Accountable for managing the commercial performance (P&L) of the product across the product lifecycle in support of the business's high-level financial ambitions and Balance Sheet shape.
- Product Management: Delivers a compelling and insights led Product Proposition offering that aligns to and enables the business and customer strategies.
- Product Infrastructure: Accountable for the entire end-to-end infrastructure (People, Process and Technology) on which the product runs to support the target customer experience whilst ensuring that the product remains commercially viable by ensuring.
- People and Culture: Builds and sustains a culture that aligns to the business's colleague experience to deliver the target customer experience and financial performance

Education

Master's Degree: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (required)
