The Communications Specialist plays a pivotal role within the organisation, tasked with developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that reflect the organisation's identity and objectives. This individual will be responsible for managing both internal and external communications, ensuring that all messaging is clear, consistent, and impactful.

**Functions**:

- Design and implement strategic communication plans to support the organisation's goals.
- Craft, edit, and proofread communication materials to uphold the highest standards of quality.
- Manage projects efficiently to meet deadlines and achieve departmental targets.
- Foster collaboration across various teams to maintain a unified brand voice and message consistency.
- Leverage advanced computer and technology skills in managing communication platforms and creating content.

**Skills**:

- Expertise in MS Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, and the Internet.
- Exceptional proficiency in the English language, with a talent for writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Superior organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, with a knack for building collaborative relationships.
- The capacity to adapt to changes and make decisive, informed decisions.
- Problem-solving skills, record-keeping proficiency, and adept project management.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and foster positive interactions within the team.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 completion, with Mathematics.
- A bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in communication, marketing, or media, with a proven track record in writing, editing, and proofreading.
