Project Portfolio Executive

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Degree or BTech (Civil, Elec, Mech). Must provide Certificate with transcript
- A relevant degree or certification in engineering and project management is preferred
- Matric. Must provide Certificate with results
- 15 years’ Rail EPCM experience
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional. Must provide Certificate with registration number
- Registered with SACPCMP (PrCPM advantageous)
- Registered with PMI (PMP advantageous)
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Project Portfolio Management: You would be responsible for managing a portfolio of rail projects, ensuring that they align with thecompany's strategic goals and objectives. This involves prioritizing projects, allocating resources, and monitoring progress to ensure successful delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: You would interact with various stakeholders, such as clients, government agencies, contractors, and suppliers. Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders is crucial for project success and may involve negotiation,conflict resolution, and regular communication.
- Project Planning and Execution: You would oversee the planning and execution of rail projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time,within budget, and to the required quality standards. This includes developing project plans, defining project scopes, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Resource Management: You would be responsible for managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. This involves coordinating with various teams, departments, and subcontractors to ensure adequate resources are available and effectively utilized throughout the project lifecycle.
- Financial Management: You would monitor project budgets and financial performance, ensuring that projects are delivered within the approved budgetary constraints. This may involve tracking costs, managing change orders, and providing financial reports to senior management
- Quality Assurance: You would ensure that all projects adhere to relevant quality standards, industry regulations, and safety guidelines.This includes implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and addressing any non-compliance issues that may arise.
- Risk Management: You would identify and assess project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. This involves analyzing potential risks, creating contingency plans, and monitoring risk factors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Reporting and Documentation: You would be responsible for preparing regular progress reports, project documentation, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. This includes providing updates on project status, milestones achieved, and key performance indicators
