My client in the property sector is currently looking for a Senior DevOps Manager reporting to Executive Technology. _**This is a remote role and can be done anywhere in South Africa. **_

Main Responsibilities:

- The Senior DevOps Manager will directly oversee the implementation, deployment, and integration of solutions, taking responsibility for the successful delivery.
- In this role you will work closely with software developers and testers, providing the tooling and automation that enables the software team to provide value quickly and reliably to our customers.
- Work closely with the Infrastructure Manager to design, maintain, monitor, and operate various cloud services.
- This role will need to successfully plan, build, configure, and test solutions, maintain systems, analyse, and approve new code, and perform automation tasks.
- _**Must be a South African citizen.**_
- _**3-Year Computer Science Degree (or equivalent experience).**_
- _**5-10 years of professional experience.**_
- _**Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or another Cloud provider is required.**_
- _**Experience managing production cloud services is required.**_
- _**Solid understand of networking and cloud security concepts.**_
- _**Experience with Linux.**_
- _**Understanding of source control and build systems including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.**_
- _**Building, publishing and maintaining Docker containers is required.**_
- _**Cloud configuration management experience (Cloud Formation, Terraform, etc.) is required.**_
- _**Experience working in a cross functional agile team.**_
