CSA Global is a leading PR, talent and influencer marketing company with offices in Cape Town and Los Angeles. We have an outstanding, remote job opportunity for an experienced, mid-weight accounts manager to join the company.
The accounts manager will report to the accounts director and executive directors and the role will cover brand/ client relations, PR planning, media liaison, influencer engagement and assisting with strategy and content generation.
You’ll need at least seven years’ experience in the PR/Advertising industry, and a good network of contacts.
This exciting role is both client-facing and focused on distributing material that communicates various aspects of brand communication and PR strategy. The PR and media accounts manager will also play a role in developing communications strategy, as well as implementing PR and influencer campaigns and auditing budgets through to final reporting on the impact of communication and identifying areas for improvement.

**Responsibilities**:
**Client relations**: on-going working relationship with brand manager/marketing manager to ensure execution of requirements on brand strategy and communications

**Day-to-day management of content for media**: distributing articles, managing media queries and sign offs

**PR planning**: Create, manage, and implement a PR calendar according to brand strategy

**Monitoring and reporting on the impact of PR**: Produce regular, insightful reports that provide clear analysis and direction

**Influencer marketing**: Create, manage, and implement a influencer calendar/s according to brand strategy
Collaborating on and editing content (news and opinion pieces, material for social media and communications)

**Generating content**: Identifying story angles, interviewing experts, and researching topics to generate precise, clean copy.

**Research and Reports**: compiling reports applicable to industry trends, monitoring and scouting new influencer talent across Pan-Africa. Requirements

Previous experience in a similar account management and brand communications
At least seven years solid experience with traditional external PR
A proven track record designing and implementing PR/content distribution campaigns
A keen interest in entertainment and culture, especially from an African perspective.
Knowledge of the South African media landscape
Experience generating content
A proven track record of driving results
Organised and methodical
An eye for detail and an ability to see the big picture
Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritise, meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
