The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the manager in using computerised audit techniques and developing methods for review and analysis of computerised information systems and data to provide professional and timely audit related services. The position is based in Pretoria, however the incumbent may be expected to travel.

**Requirements**:

- A National Diploma or a Bachelors degree in internal auditing/information systems/computer science and five years of specialised working experience as an information system auditor of which the majority of the time should be within one of the larger auditing firms in a similar capacity;
- Experience in auditing technical IT areas such as networks, databases, security, etc.;
- Post-graduate qualification in IT and certification with the following will be advantageous:

- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Framework
- CISCO Systems
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
- Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) (CSIM)

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Perform IT audits according to the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA);
- Execute the agreed annual IT Audit Plan in accordance with the company's relevant policies, procedures, and any other legal or other requirements;
- Plan, facilitate, and coordinate critical IT audit projects;
- Manage the timely completion of IT internal auditing engagements as per the annual plan and project budget;
- Lead and supervise allocated IT audit projects;
- Through regular engagements with auditees understand their current business environment, requirements, risks, strategy, and expectations to ensure key and/or emerging risks are considered in the annual audit plan;
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls within the IT environment to mitigate IT risks regarding confidentiality, integrity, and availability of business information;
