Programme Manager

Leading Business School has a position for a Programme Manager who will manage deliverables for corporate projects and short programmes.
**Project Management**
**Sales Involvement and Set-up of Project Documentation**
Contribute and assist the sales team with delivery requirement stipulations and quality assurance items for finalisation of tenders/proposals.
Assist with the quality assurance, development and writing project proposals.
Familiarise self with, and understand all sales documentation related to specific project delivery expectations.
Initiate and manages sales handover meeting, ensuring full understanding of project deliverables and client (internal and external) specific expectations.
Identify, developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships from sales inception to close out of project.
Use all information gathered to develop up the project charter as baseline for all project execution activities.
Initiate, attend and document stakeholder meeting(s) to clarify project expectations and deliverables.
Finalise, communicate and distribute the project delivery schedule to all stakeholders before the start of the project.
**Project Execution**Proactive management of projects.
Act as central point of contact for the project team and all other stakeholders.
Actively managing client expectations for the duration of the project.
Implement, follow and manage standardised processes and procedures for the implementation of all project deliverables.
Proactively managing all project meetings (internal and external) including meeting agendas, preparation of meeting documentation, minutes of meeting and auctioning all stakeholder feedback.
Manage project coordinators and administrators in their day-to-day work.
Ensure consistent and accurate administration of engagement projects.
Deal with project related enquiries and activities.
Develop and manage the use of an electronic and manual filing system for all project related documentation.
**Contract Management**
Actively managing project contracts, finances and personnel to ensure projects are delivered within time, budget and constraints.
Creating, writing and coordinating professional, accurate and timely project reports in line with the project charter, client requirements and invoicing schedules.
Managing the project invoicing schedule (and deliverables) and ensure that invoices are created and delivered in time for payment purposes.
Following up on payment for all invoices and manage any issues/ discrepancies
**People Management**
Proactively managing project resources to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget and as per quality agreement.
Motivating team members to contribute to team/ organisational work.
Leading and managing by example, and to encourage team work.
Fostering a ‘can do’ culture of by actively seeking solutions to problems and involving team members in the process.
Creating opportunities for team members to grow and expand their skills through the project duration.
**Project Evaluation**
Evaluating projects systematically in order to capture and share learning from what do, and to facilitate a culture of continuous individual and organisational learning.

**Minimum requirements**
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, and a completed Degree
Must come from the Skills / Education Environment
Must have knowledge of scheduling, project management software an added advantage
The Project Manager must manage key client projects and oversees all aspects of projects.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
Must perform a variety of tasks.
Lead and direct the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R45,000.00 per month
