**Job Summary**:
Reporting into the HR Director with a dotted line to the HR Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the Accounts and HR department to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Collation and preparation of month-end payments.
- Export reports to excel and send updated versions to the Bookkeeper weekly.
- Contact customers for payments and record communication, including follow up dates.
- Respond to customer queries on a daily basis.
- Run weekly COD report and follow up on unpaid monies.
- Claims (Spar portal) - follow up on short delivery, returns and pricing claims.
- Arrange depositing of cheques and postdated cheques and capture details on HotKey.
- Advise banks of details required for cross border receipts.
- Capture daily customer receipts off bank statements and process relevant rebates and discounts.
- Recon accounts once the receipts have been captured.
- Contact customers should there be a short payment.
- Record monies collected by agents and reps and notify the relevant managers as per the cash collection procedure.
- COD accounts: loading account details on the system and making adjustments.
- Monthly statements
- General accounting duties
- HR Administration: capturing of leave, compiling minutes of meetings, training coordination, petrol card administration, long service awards, birthdays and general HR admin.

- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Strong customer relationship skills.
- Highly systematic and well organised
- Strong attention to detail.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Grade 12 with exemption pass
- Relevant tertiary degree preferable
- 2 year’s relevant experience
- Computer literacy and MS Office packages particularly excel.
**Experience**:
- Debtors: 2 years (required)
Ability to Commute:
- La Mercy, KwaZulu-Natal (required)
