Role Purpose

To investigate, monitor and conduct extensive research for your area of responsibility. You will be required to perform various methods of investigations, draft comprehensive reports and make recommendations to relevant stakeholders. You will assist the team to mitigate risks, perform in-depth investigations and develop intelligence reports.
Requirements
- Matric and a diploma in criminal justice or criminal law or policing or CFE
- At least 2 years experience in the relevant field
- Solid research and report writing skills.
- Knowledge of legal framework and procedures around researching and monitoring.
- Good understanding of open -source intelligence tools
Duties & Responsibilities
- Consulting with clients or relevant stakeholders on their requirements
- Extensive research within your area of responsibility
- Utilizing up to date investigation methods
- Performing operational assessments
- Conduct statutory background investigations
- Travelling to various locations
- Reviewing and crystallizing information for further analysis and investigation
- Reporting observations and findings to the relevant persons or clients
- Undertake to fully understand the content and impact of all the relevant legislation and requirements for the Financial Services Industry
- Demonstrate high levels of technical and product knowledge. Ensure that all practices and procedures within the department is strictly observed in terms of disclosures and records kept
- Track, interpret and communicate trends or gaps in terms of risks for your area of responsibility
- Liaise and co-ordinate with the Head of the Forensics Department to identify risk areas and highlight trends
- Keep records of all risk investigations and report back to management regularly for awareness and action
