A fast-growing mining and Logistics company based in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team.

The role will fulfil the full payroll function including but not limited to monthly pay runs, monthly / annual returns / reconciliations / reporting

**Qualifications and experience**
- Diploma in HR/Payroll

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a full payroll function position
- Must have experience of the National Bargaining Council Road Freight and Logistics (NBCRFLI) system, legislation, process and procedures.

SAGE, VIP Premier min 5years experience

Psiber payroll experience advantageous as they outsource their payroll to Psiber
- Jarison Time and Attendance system experience essential

Excellent Microsoft excel skills (Pivots, V-Lookup, formulas)

A - Z Payroll experience including tax, remuneration benefits, etc.

**DUTIES**:
**PAYROLL**:

- Ensure NBCRFLI D-Forms are done and ensure Payroll Administrator completes the necessary information and submission required.
- Ensure Subsistence Allowances and Incentive Allowances are paid for the bargaining council staff.
- Assist the Senior Management team with calculation of rates, and incentives taking into consideration overtime and other remuneration factors.
- Completion of the monthly full payroll function
- Ensuring accurate approval of all employee payroll changes.
- Preparation and submission of all monthly and annual returns with the Payroll administrator that is outsourced.
- Resolving queries and ensuring on going compliance.
- Filing of all payroll documents.
- Assist Finance Manager with capturing monthly salary journals.
- Provide reports to the finance department and have monthly meetings to give input on variances for the month on all 4 payrolls.
- Loading new employees on system.
- Termination on system timeously.
- Processing of overtime.
- Loading of all staff related information and details and maintaining thereof.
- Monthly withdrawal of pension fund / Provident fund.
- Processing of increases and bonusses.
- Balancing of monthly payrolls and closing off.
- Run reports on a monthly basis.
- Import / Export of payroll files.
- Completing and releasing of UI19.
- Handling and assisting with payroll queries.
- Checking of other payrolls.
- Assist with yearly audits for all 4 companies
- Ensuring that correct documentation and information is prepared for any retrenchment process.
- Capturing of movement onto payroll system.
- Prepare various monthly variance reports to be signed off by management.
- Reconciliation of all Monthly HR Reports.
- Load and maintain all leave
- Compensation and salary Calculations
- Monthly completion of necessary reports.
- Monitor submission of EMP201’s and EMP501’s by the consultants

**Workman’s Compensation**
- Ensure medicals and IOD are all loaded onto the payroll system.

**Reporting**
- Submit monthly reports to HR Executive
- Hold Monthly meetings with HR Executive and discuss variances.

**Salary**: Up to R650,000.00 per year
