**Paralegal Specialist - IP - Sandton**

Our Client is seeking a highly motivated Paralegal Specialist to join their Group Legal & Secretariat team immediately. As a Paralegal Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the General Counsel in performing the statutory duties required by a public company listed on the JSE. You will be drafting standard agreements, maintaining contracts precedent databases, providing legal opinions, and assisting with compliance and governance matters.

**Qualifications and expertise required**:

- Legal degree
- 5-8 years work experience in an established large law firm
- Working knowledge of the corporate process is important
- Computer literacy essential

**Competencies**:

- Experienced legal officer
- High level of confidentiality
- Results Orientated
- Good Communication skills
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Analytical thinking
- Understanding of statutory processes, systems, and policies
- Innovative Ability to work independently

**Salary**: Market Related in line with big law firms and based on experience.
