**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

To assist with the operating of machine safely and productively, producing quality board according to required standards, operating instructions and company procedures.

**REPORTING TO: CONVERTING MANAGER**

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Set machine according job card or CTI line up.
- Make sure that the inks, die, stereo and colour folders are available for each order.
- Make sure that the correct pallet labels are printed, and that the info correspond with CTI.
- Run the machine efficiently and make sure that the product is on time and in full.
- Follow all ISO in process procedures.
- Communicate with Planning, Sales and QC.
- Do Autonomous maintenance and be pro-active by reporting faults on the machines.
- Do weekly Planned maintenance.
- Give support to the Engineering team by allocating team members to help the fitters and electricians.
- Achieve OEE, Availability and Speed
- Attend waste and production meetings and participate in feedback sessions

**KEY COMPETENCIES / SKILLS**
- Must be able to print job cards and pallet cards.
- Must be able to work under pressure and be a problem solver.
- Must be able to lead a team and make decisions.
- Must be able to work extended hours as well as weekends
- Fluent in English

**REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE**
- Must be SETA trade tested or RPL equivalent

Must be computer literate to use CTI and ABACA software
