Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) is a public, not-for-profit institution that exhibits, collects, preserves and researches contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora; conceives and hosts international exhibitions; develops supporting educational, discursive and enrichment programs; encourages intercultural understanding; and strives for access for all.

The museum’s galleries feature rotating, temporary exhibitions with a dedicated space for the permanent collection. The institution also includes the Centre for Art Education, the Centre for the Moving Image, and a project space for emerging artists.

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point of sale system
- Inform customers about promotions and discounts
- Maintain a clean and tidy store appearance
- Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels
- Use product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
- Collaborate with coworkers and management to ensure smooth store operations

Qualifications and Skills:

- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level
- Previous customer service experience is preferred
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods of time
