Medical Receptionist and Administration Assistant

**Medical Receptionist & Administrative Assistant, Stellenbosch**
Our client, an Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Stellenbosch, is seeking to recruit a medical receptionist who will attend to all the necessary responsibilities with professionalism and excellent patient care.
**Requirements**:
- Greet and assist patients in a courteous and kind manner, whether in person or telephonically.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records.
- Attend to patient enquiries.
- Run an efficient diary and appointment schedule.
- Show empathy towards patients and anticipate patients' anxieties.
- Efficient filing and retrieving of patient records.
- Maintain practice inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies
- Attend to patient emergencies.
- General administration and personal assistant tasks.
- Co-ordinate theatre lists, bookings and liaise with the necessary key personnel.
**Qualification**:
- Matric
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar medical receptionist position
- Experience within an orthopaedic practice is an advantage
- Medical software experience with Vericlaim will be an advantage
- Post Graduate diploma/certificate in marketing, administration is an advantage
- Microsoft office suite experience and computer literate
