DOVES is one of the largest funeral directing companies in Southern Africa and a major role player in the progressive development of the funeral industry in this part of the world.

**CORE PURPOSE**

To render a professional funeral arranging service to meet client requirements in order to maximize the profit and turnover of the branch

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
The incumbent will be responsible to arrange professional funerals.

Tasks include:
Funeral / Cremation arrangements.
Receive family and discuss the type of funeral/cremation.
Obtain the necessary documentation and discuss the procedure of the funeral, e.g. organizing of the flowers, pamphlets, etc.
Determine the cost of the funeral.
Confirm information with minister and family.
Give correct information through to Funeral Director.
Funeral administration.
Capturing all documentation on the internal system.
Advise client of costs and sign it off.
Control of company image.
Responsible for the performance of the branch.
Manage the branch expenditure.
Branch asset control.

**SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS**
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Proficient in English.
Excellent People skills
Must have good organizing skills
Must excel in good client relation skills
Have to understand all the funeral products (policies and contracts) and services on offer.
Must be able to guide clients under stressful situations and show empathy.
Valid Driver’s License.
Computer literate.

Grade 12

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
Minimum of 3 years in funeral arranging role.
Strong coordination, administration and customer service experience.
Strong logístical experience (process and control ability).

**COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**:
Negotiation, Interpersonal Skills, Establishing and maintaining customer relations,
Problem solving, Resilience, Take Initiative and Execute, Responsibility & Accountability
