Medical Aid rate based on principal member only)- To be confirmed- Advert Closing Date- 8/12/2023- Job Purpose- The purpose of this vacancy is to appoint a part-time lecturer to teach in the field of Visual Art in the Diploma in Education, Grade R programme at the Wellington Campus
(not exceeding 24 hours per month at a rate of R275 per hour).
- **Please Note**: The Teacher Education programme at our Wellington Campus is taught in Afrikaans. Except for lecturers who teach languages other than Afrikaans, lecturers need to be able to teach/lecture in Afrikaans
- Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience- A relevant Master’s degree and/or B Ed Honours-degree relevant to Foundation Phase and Diploma in Education: Grade R.
- A relevant teaching qualification in the Foundation Phase
- At least two (2) relevant lecturing experience at tertiary level in Foundation Phase and/or Early Childhood Education or five (5) relevant teaching experience at Foundation Phase and/oror Early Childhood level at school level
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans

- Evidence of competence in research
