**WINE SALES REPRESENTATIVE**

Our client, a well-known and established wine, herbs and fruits estate located in Franschhoek, has a vacant position for a **WINE SALES REPRESENTATIVE**.

The estate produces well-known wines, herbs and fruits, and has an upmarket restaurant and tasting room where the wines and farm produce can be enjoyed. The estate is also renowned for its facilities and gardens which are open for events such as weddings, year-end functions, lunches and picnics. The estate also provides several upmarket holiday cottages.

The Wine Sales Representative position entails internal and external sales, growing the estates overall sales and customer base, keeping close, professional relationships with clients, and assistance with the marketing and sales strategy.

**Minimum Job Requirements and skills**:

- A minimum of matric, but preference will be given to someone with a relevant qualification.
- Knowledge of the Wine making process will be towards your advantage.
- 2+ years’ experience in the wine industry and a proven sales track record.
- Valid driver's license and own car.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients.
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasive selling skills.
- A grasp of how to do quotations and to deliver a quality service to clients.
- Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

**Key Responsibilities, but not limited to**:

- Sales generation and growth of customer base.
- Plans on reaching and exceeding sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, including wine and spirits retailers, restaurants, bars, and hotels.
- Working closely with your manager and CRM system to improve on selling ability.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including prospecting and cold-calling potential customers.
- Regularly visit clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide ongoing product support.
- Organise and host tastings to educate and display the products we have on offer.
- Order taking, invoicing and weekly sales reporting.
- Recommend suitable products based on customer preferences and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Assisting with marketing and promotional activities.

**Starting Date: Immediately / As soon as possible.**
