Signal Hill Products is looking for a Contract and Export Controller

Position/Title: Contract & Export Controller
Reports To: Head of Supply Chain & Logistics/Executives
Function: Logistics
Area: Production
Number of Reports 0

Overall Responsibility:
The Contract & Exports Controller responsibilities will include overseeing the contracts, imports and export operations in compliance with tariff and customs regulations. The Contract & Exports Controller will be in direct contact with Contract Pack Customers, ensure contracts are in place through the guidance of the Executive team and act as point of contact.

Focus Area 1- Contract Controlling & Communication
- Contract pack pricing control with detailed knowledge of the BOM (Bill of Materials)
- Communication with Contract Pack Customers Ensuring Contracts are in place and negotiated with supervision of Shareholders.
- Communicating with Contract Manufacturers around Dry Goods Supply,
- Delivery etc Work alongside the Planning & Project Manager to schedule all manufacturing of Exports and Contracts
- Single point of contact for new contracts, once finalized and running Act as one stop point of contact for Shareholders/Executives

Focus Area 2- Exports Coordination Manage
- all Logistics around with exports of all Dry Goods, Finished Goods and Marketing Materials.
- Work with Export Agencies to simplify processes. Engage With Logistics on planning for labour, loading times, dock level requirements.
- Manage communication with brand & Supply & Procurement on new SKu’s.

Focus Area 3- Compliance & Standard Processes
- Ensuring compliance to the Import & Export Procedure Participating in ISO audits.
- Adhering to safety management standards. Management of housekeeping
- Adhering to reporting requirements as set by the Manager. Maintaining the filing system as per requirements of the Import & Export Acts.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements of the Role
- Bachelors Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or other relevant qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in working in Project Management,
- Logistics coordination, contract vendors and exports/imports
- Preferred Skills/CompetenciesStrong collaborator and communicator
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess a high technical, mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), BOM, SAP and other software experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to stick to deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of data analytics
- Strong Problem Solving skills
- Willingness to learn and develop project management skills
