- We are looking for a meticulous, detail-oriented individual to ensure efficient support to the City of Johannesburg HR team._ The main purpose of the role is to ensure effective administration support to the HR Department in City of Johannesburg._

**Key duties and responsibilities**:
**HR Administration and reporting**
- Support Human Resources Department with the HR Administration as and when required.
- Generate letter of employments, addendums, increase and bonus letters etc.
- Ensure all new employee and termination documentation reaches payroll timeously.
- File and store recruitment requisitions, job profiles and performance contracts.
- Update employee files as and when changes occur.
- Verify, collate, and follow up on timesheets to ensure they are submitted on time and are correct.
- Prepare work-back agreements and acknowledgement of debts and submit to payroll.
- Assist with collation of study leave and private work.
- Attend and respond to HR queries or refer for further support to the relevant line manager.
- Assist with audits as and when required.

**Recruitment Support**
- Assist with drafting of job advertisements.
- Circulate job advertisements internally and on Simplify HR or other HR systems etc.
- Schedule interviews & conduct pre-employment checks.
- Participate in interviews as and when required.

***Facilitate Employee Engagement process**
- Assist employees with the completion of engagement packs.
- Coordinate new staff induction and roadshows with HR Manager.
- Send out monthly updates on new appointments and terminations to the HR Manager.

**Any other tasks as agreed with line manager.**

**Minimum qualifications and experience**:

- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Diploma in at least one of the following disciplines: Human Resources, Labour Relations and/or Industrial Psychology
- At least 2-3 years HR administrative and generalist experience.
- Minimum 2 years recruitment experience.

**Skills, competencies, and attributes**:

- Computer literate, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Able to work independently
- Problem solving skills
- Organised, proactive and team player
- Ability to work with speed, accuracy and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills
