**_Our client, a medico-legal practice is seeking medico-legal Translators to join their expanding team. The practice specifically requires someone based in Pretoria - Groenkloof Gauteng._**

**_ Position: Translator _**
**_Industry: Medico-Legal Consulting_**
**_Salary: R5000 P.M. / Half Day Position_**
**_Location: Pretoria - Groenkloof Gauteng_**

**Introduction**:

- The medico-legal practice is seeking Translators to join their expanding team. The practice specifically requires someone based in Centurion Gauteng._

**Responsibilities**:

- Translate Medical and Legal Documents: Accurately translate a variety of documents, including medical reports, legal documents, and correspondence, ensuring precision and adherence to terminology.
- Interpretation services
- Language Proficiency: Demonstrate high proficiency in both medical and legal terminology, ensuring the accurate conveyance of complex information.
- Cultural and Contextual Understanding: Understand cultural nuances and context-specific language usage to ensure accurate translations in the medico-legal field.
- Collaboration with Experts: Work closely with medical experts, legal professionals, and other team members to ensure translations maintain accuracy and relevance.
- Research: Conduct research on medical and legal terms to stay updated and maintain the highest standards in translations.
- Quality Assurance: Review and proofread translated materials to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and adherence to regulatory standards.

**Requirements**:

- Experience as a Translator in the medico-legal field is preferred.
- Proficiency in at least two languages, including English and Afrikaans.
- In-depth knowledge of medical and legal terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant certification or accreditation in Translation is a plus / advantage.
