Payroll Administrator

National Emergency Response Company is looking to recruit a detail-focused, deadline-driven and organised Payroll Administrator.
**Responsible for**:
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for providing effective and efficient payroll function that is aligned with the departmental and company strategic goals.
The Payroll Administrator will be expected to deliver excellent customer service within the organisation.
**Duties**:
- Wages
- Sourcing all timesheets for casual staff
- Sourcing job cards to match timesheets and ensure correct number of people have signed timesheets matching job card.
- Capturing daily wages on Excel spreadsheet
- Processing wages on Pastel payroll
- Maintaining wage staff Master files on the system
- Ensuring wages are sent through to finance department for payment
- Attending to all wage queries
- Termination of employees on Payroll
- Scan and allocate wages into folders Administration
- Create all new staff files
- Filing of all staff documents into staff files
- Updating all files
- Maintaining an Electronic Filing system for all contracts for casual labour as well as documents related. HR
- Sourcing of overtime registers/ bin bonuses and hour meter checklists
- Capturing of overtime and hour meter checklists for all monthly paid employees.
- Assisting with all Adhoc HR duties
**Minimum Requirements**:
- 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excel intermediate preferred
- Sage Evolution
- Experience working with payroll of +400 employees
**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 1 month
**Salary**: R8,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month
