**The Role**:

- The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for developing strong relationships with existing and new partners, data analysis, product strategy, and everything in between while building the skills to lead increasingly large parts of our long-term operations and strategy in South Africa. In addition, the PM will take full responsibility for the success of product deployments, including working with analysts and high-level decision-makers, running analyses, scoping engineering projects, collaborating with engineering, and ensuring that all aspects of technical implementation run smoothly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage implementation of our South African projects, including task management, team coordination and execution of all deliverables.
- Proactively seek new opportunities to expand the country's portfolio.
- Drive all project-related activities for assigned clients/projects with attention to efficiency, timing, and provide superior service to the client and/or intended audience.
- Manage the project communications and processes to ensure successful outcomes and aligned expectations.
- Proactively identify and communicate project risks and delays to the client and the Director of Delivery.
- Identify issues and work closely with project team members, Zenysis staff, and the client toward solutions.
- Monitor project scope, document change requests and ensure such requests are carefully reviewed and approved by both the client and Director of Delivery prior to implementation.
- Produce consistent high-level communications to internal and external stakeholders on project status, risks, and changes recommendedExecute on the project delivery processes and methodology to support quality of project deliverables.
- Support knowledge sharing within and across projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field
- 4+ years experience employing **project management,** product management, or data analysis skill sets.
- Experience with Ministries of Health and International Donors, including USAID, Global Fund, GAVI, World Bank, etc.
- Experience working on projects, synthesizing hard analytical insight with holistic understanding of a complex problem space.
- Hands-on experience or adjacent work in design, business, operations, policy, product, or project management.
- You enjoy working with clients and have a customer-centric attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
