**The Role**
We are seeking an Administrator, reporting to an Assistant Manager within the Hedge Division of Sanne, to Conduct and maintain appropriate investor identification and verification, take ownership of and process investor transactions and deal with investor queries. This includes conducting and maintaining appropriate investor identification and verification screening mandated by the Sanne KYC Procedures prior to the opening of a new account relationship and ensuring this is consistent with the Sanne Fund Services SA AML Policy; and ensure all records are kept up to date. The incumbent will be allocated funds and will be responsible for ensuring all transactions are processed timeously and accurately while dealing with any Fund Manager or Client queries.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform KYC screening on new investors by collecting all required documentation on the investor as required by the KYC Procedures;
- Establishing contact with the responsible external person and communicate Sanne requirements;
- Assess documentation and information provided for completeness;
- Follow up on outstanding requirements with Investors;
- Confirm KYC sign off with internal Operational Teams;
- Update and produce status reports as required;
- Perform investor account refresh as required;
- Ensure that the necessary documentation and information pertaining to the investors are captured and maintained in line with document retention policies
- Administration of client matters;
- Process subscription, redemption, switch and transfer instructions;
- Maintenance of investor registers:
- Process end of performance fee period transactions:
- Create units for outstanding equalization credits;
- Consolidate series funds;
- Production and distribution of investor statements and investment certificates;
- Servicing ad hoc requests for information; Provide creation/liquidation information monthly and distributing to fund managers;
- Prepare and distribute income distribution statements;
- Prepare and distribute provisional and year-end tax
certificates - IT3B and IT3C;
- Prepare and distribute ad-hoc reports including quarterly risk reports and audit certificates;
- Record and monitor cessions applicable to investors
- Establish excellent client relationships and provide high quality service and productivity;
- Ensure that internal and external queries are dealt with timeously and professionally;
- Liaise with internal departments for streamlined workflow;
- Assist the external auditors to ensure the audit function is executed on a timely and efficient basis.
**Skills / Experience Required**
- Grade 12 with Accounting or Mathematics (preferable);
- 1 - 2 years’ experience within the financial industry (preferable);
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment as well as multitask and re-prioritise on a regular basis;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail;
- Effective time-management skills to achieve deadlines;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent organisational skills;
- Motivated and driven.
