Operations Supervisor

Responsible of the operations supervisor include training and supervising employees, reducing operational costs, monitoring their department's compliance with operational policies, and keeping records of the progress of administrative duties.

Main Job Function:

- Supervise staff attendance and time-keeping.
- Coordinate team to ensure loading of trucks and dispatching on time.
- Conduct floor walks and ensure that all staff are performing to required standards. Ensure floor scan is done on a daily base and returns are prioritized.
- Planning of vehicle routes, local and outline.
- Follow-up on tripsheets and un-manifested waybills daily.
- Report discrepancies to management. Handle client queries from start to end.
- Follow up on all tracking and ensure drivers follow the scheduled route.
- Report faulty machinery and ensure Opus checks are done daily.
- Complete the client report (Query Report).
- Sign off daily timesheets of drivers and assistants.
- Ensure that claims are completed and AODs are signed off.
- Creating Incident reports on portal.
- A minimum of 2-3 years working experience in similar post.
- Matric certificate or further diploma/ degree would be advantageous.
- Effective communication on all levels within the organization and with customers. Computer literate and strong in excel.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Customer service attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure.

**Salary**: R9,000.00 - R9,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Olifantsfontein, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- operations supervisor: 2 years (preferred)
- Supervise staff attendance and time-keeping: 2 years (preferred)
- Planning of vehicle routes, local and outline: 2 years (preferred)
