Our client is a well-known and well-established **MANUFACTURING** business within the **TEXTILES INDUSTRY** and is situated in **BLACKHEATH**.

The Company manufactures **WOVEN POLYPROPYLENE BULK BAGS** and requires the services of a **SALES MANAGER.**

**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers.
- Co-develop and implement the Company’s Sales Strategy to grow both turnover and gross profit.
- Identify and enter into new market segments.
- Identify new product opportunities.
- Conduct regular personal visits to customers and maintain healthy communication practices with customers.
- Liaise with internal departments, financial/admin, production/manufacturing, and quality for and on behalf of customers to ensure excellent customer service.
- Achieve Critical Key Sales Indicators and conduct detailed reporting to the Managing Director.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) within the Sales Department and between Sales and Production.

**REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Proven and successful track record in Sales - experience within the Textiles Industry in an advantage.
- At least 5 - 10 years of relevant sales management experience.
- Technical knowledge within a manufacturing environment in an advantage.
- A proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with Customers.
- Highly Effective negotiation skills.
- Strong collaborative approach and willingness to work with the Manufacturing Team.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification will be a definite advantage.
- Grade 12 is essential.
- Ability to take accountability and to function on a senior level, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
- Customer driven and friendly with a passion for service excellence.
- Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans).
- Available to travel nationally as/when required.
