Regional Digital Equipment Marketer

**International Chemical Manufacturing company has a position available for a Regional Digital Equipment Marketer (RDEM) within the Global Digital Innovation Division. Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Electrical /Computer/ Chemical/Mechanical engineering field, minimum 5 years relevant and 3 years' SAP experience required. The career is challenging with great prospects for growth. Based in KZN.**

**Requirements**:

- A BSc or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/ Computer/ Chemical/ Mechanical engineering /or relevant, plus 5 years' experience or
- MSc (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Electrical/ Computer/ Chemical/ Mechanical engineering /or relevant, plus 3 years' experience.
- Minimum 3 years solid SAP experience and knowledge, non-negotiable
- Minimum 3 years' experience within manufacturing/chemical industry
- Demonstrate understanding of uses for Digital Technologies and transformation
- Advanced MS Office
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Advanced reasoning
- Action orientated

**Duties**:

- Ensures digital project alignment and prioritization
- Gains feedback and champions regional ideas on the global stage
- Responsible for the commercial success of adoption of digital products and services launched
- Working with the Digital Solutions Management team and regional stakeholders to make progress on the standardization, and digitization of equipment fleet
- “Owns” the success of a digital feature, starting from working with global stakeholders and Product Owners to specify the feature, working with software team, external vendors, and other RDEM’s to develop, test and deploy the feature
- Executes regional communication plan and metrics
- Works with the CDO to help create the regional prioritized set of digital initiatives, commitments, and digital budget
- Supports and helps drive an innovative culture
- Collaborates effectively with the global digital team and with other departments, stakeholders, and leaders
- Owns implementation of digital launches in the region with good communication, training and change management
- Acts as a conduit for conveying regional needs to be considered for digitization and works with other RDEM’s to globalize and standardize the solutions
- Ensures communication and sharing of best practices
