**Key Outputs**
- Develop and grow the regional market for Barloworld Equipment marketing and managing the sales of new, used and rental opportunities
- Devise effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve the set goals including identifying potential markets, segments, or niches.
- Onboard and train new hires ensuring they understand the products, market, and sales techniques.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to sales employees to improve their performance, overcome challenges, and develop their sales skills.
- Regularly review the performance of individual sales consultants and the team as a whole.
- Allocate and manage the sales budget, which might include expenses for travel, training, incentives, and promotional activities.
- Forecast and project future sales based on current data and market trends
- Nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and seeking opportunities for upselling or cross selling.
- Promote a positive and competitive atmosphere within the sales team
- Work closely with other departments, like marketing, service and after sales to ensure alignment in strategies and to gather feedback.
- Ensure the sales team has all the necessary tools and resources, such as CRM systems, product brochures to function effectively.
- Effective self-management and performance ownership
- Effective balance sheet management
- management of HR value chain
- Interact with principal and BEUK.

**Qualification, Experience and Competencies**
- Sound business knowledge
- Knowledge of CAT product line including accessories and work tools
- Sound business and financial acumen
- Sound knowledge of CAT equipment and industry
